The Weapon Embarkation Database (WED) is a secure dial up service designed for the Warship Support Agency to manage their weapons handling equipment.

The system is based on Ultra's I-Tracker product.

It provides a web based interface to an inventory management and picking database. Using user roles and handheld barcode scanners, the system allows the operators to use the expert system to pick the correct, calibrated equipment for the load. The system will then continue to track the items from stores to point of use and back again.

The system also contains all the safety certificates for the equipment and the calibration information. This enables the users to call up all the required safety information at the dock side.
